Labs Flipbook Textures

Flipbook Textures ROP is part of the FREE and open-source toolset in Houdini called SideFX Labs. This tool renders and composites flipbook textures. Multiple passes can be rendered to allow for fully dynamic real-time relighting, so you do not have to bake lighting scenario into the colors. The tool comes with real-time shaders designed to work with the exported textures. Built around Houdini 19's high-quality viewport pyro rendering, Flipbook Textures ROP can help you create beautiful volumetric effects, but it is also capable of rendering particles or polygonal geometries together with volumes or separately on their own.
